Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail provides a complete range of services for detainees. The jail operates a corrections division that is responsible for the care, custody, and control of sentenced and non-sentenced inmates. The Jail has the capacity to hold 160 prisoners. Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail’s court security division offers controlled courthouse access solutions. The officers also conduct a variety of security checks and searches throughout the Courthouse, including but not limited to handbags and purses, as well as bathrooms, closets, and common areas. Additionally, the Jail is equipped with Kiosks where inmates may purchase food and hygiene items, communicate with the administration, and request services such as medical.
